EXTRUSION PERFORMANCE FLUIDS – CRUCIAL IN MAINTAINING WATER-COOLED EXTRUDER EFFICIENCIES, SPE ANTEC PROCEEDINGS ORLANDO, 1029 (2015).
This paper summarizes Chemagineering’s experiences from ~2000-2014 in developing and applying Extrusion Performance Fluids (EPF) as safe and effective coolants in water-cooled extrusion applications. Case Studies and simple extruder maintenance procedures are discussed.
SMALLER CLOSED-LOOP CHEMICAL CLEANING GUIDELINES: SCALE AND DEPOSIT REMOVAL, THE ANALYST 25(4) 32 (2018).
In this article specific chemical cleaning methods are generically discussed for removing mineral scales, deposits, and debris in small industrial recirculating closed-loop systems. Cleaning chemistries and procedures utilizing acidic inorganic and organic acids and near-neutral blends of organic chelating and sequestering agents are reviewed in detail.
